CONVICT BURIALS .. Trove Tuesday 19th Sep 2023

Convicts sent to Australia have played a large part in Australian History. They were sent to New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia some years later. South Australia wasn't keen on having them, though some did end up there.. a story for another time.

Something a little different this time.. transfers re the Post Master General, known as PMG, and Military Transfers. It also includes some who were retired also. These are a selection of events over various months, and states published in the Commonwealth of Australia gazette. Each page may have several dates.
