Often some of the most interesting items in a newspaper are the PERSONALS.. In the earlier editions, the style of reporting was far more casual, and dare I say, gossipy... Here we have a section from 1884 and 1914. You will see quite a difference in the styles, but also the subjects. There are numerous names, and some very unusual stories... perhaps you will see mention of a familiar name or two...
