MISSING FRIENDS Trove Tuesday 11th April 2023

Missing friends notices were popular in early newspapers. Other than word of mouth, there was little else. These notices often have a lot of detail that can't be found anywhere else. I do wonder how many these people listed were reunited with loved ones. They often have great descriptions and details about their former place of residence, which may help those of us who often search for 'lost' ancestors. These notices are from New South Wales and Western Australia... however there are many more on TROVE, from various other states and territories.
