Mrs. Barbour, who has been staying with her sister (Miss Edith Curtis) at Mount Athelstane and at Canomie, Tanby, 

returned to her home at Yass, New South Wales, by the mail train yesterday.

Mrs. R. D. Griffin (Clermont) is staying with her mother (Mrs. W. L. Rodger, Kilmarnock, Stanley-street).

Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Boldeman, who have been touring the North, have returned to Rockhampton.

Mrs. J. M'Crystal left by yesterday's train for Brisbane on a visit to her son.

Mrs. H. Greenhalgh left yesterday for Brisbane, where she will spend the summer months with her mother (Mrs. King, Morningside).

Mrs. Lindsay Palmes (Glandore, Theodore), who has been staying at the Leichhardt Hotel for a few days, is

now on a visit to Emu Park.

Colonel H. Brinsmead, who stayed at the Leichhardt Hotel during his visit to Rockhampton, left by plane yesterday for the South.

Mrs. W. C. Miller, who has been staying at the Leichhardt Hotel, left for Coreena Station last night.

Messrs. A. S. Varley and D. Joyce, who arrived from the South, are staying at the Leichhardt Hotel.

Mr. D. B. Mackie left for the North and Messrs. E. G. Langford, W. A. Wills, and J. S. Grenier left for the South yesterday. They have been staying at the Leichhardt Hotel.

Messrs. J. E. Elliott and J. F. Mitchell, who arrived from the North, are staying at the Criterion Hotel.

Messie. P. L. Hart and I. Lewis left for the South, and Messrs. C. C. Ross and E. L. Brown left for the North yesterday. They have been staying at the Criterion Hotel.

Mr. Lister George Hopkins, of Toowoomba, who has been selected as the Queensland Rhodes Scholar for 1932, is a grandson of Mrs. Felicia Hopkins, of North Rockhampton, regarding whose past activities an article appeared in last week's "Bulletin." Mr. L. G. Hopkins' father was born in Rockhampton, as was his mother, Miss Goodman. Mr Hopkins was a winner of the Lilley medal and the Byrne Memorial prize.

Mrs. A. B. Kenrick arrived from the West yesterday afternoon. She stayed at the Criterion Hotel and left by last night's train for the West.

Mrs. J. F. Morris and Mr. C. Morris will return to town today after spending a few weeks at Yeppoon.

Dr. E. A. Cook arrived from Barcaldine yesterday and left later for Emu Park. He stayed at the Criterion Hotel while in Rockhampton.

Mr. T. J. O'Brien, who has been staying at the Criterion Hotel, left for Capella last night.

Mrs. T. J. Cullen, who arrived from the South and left for the West yesterday, stayed at the Criterion Hotel while in Rockhampton.

Mr. P. J. Collins, who has been staying at the Criterion Hotel, left for the South yesterday.

Mr. J. M. Yates arrived from the South yesterday. He stayed at the Criterion Hotel and left last night for the

West.

Mr. W. Geddes, who has been staying at the Commercial Hotel, left for Balmoral, Yamba, yesterday.

Mrs. G. Lovell is staying at the Commercial Hotel.

Mr. N. Marlin, who has been staying at the Commercial Hotel, left last night for St. Helens, Emerald.

Messrs. R. M'Gavin and E. Whip arrived from the South yesterday and are staying at the Commercial Hotel.

Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Scott and family arrived from Mt. Larcom yesterday and are staying at the Grosvenor Hotel.

Mrs. Ballantine and Mr. K. Ballantine (Galloway Plains) are staying at the Grosvenor Hotel.

Mr. D. R. Walsh arrived from the West yesterday and is staying at the Grosvenor Hotel.

Mr. A. E. chapman, who arrived from Yeppoon yesterday, is staying at the Grosvenor Hotel.

Mr. L. Priddle, who has been staying at the Grosvenor Hotel, left last night for Springsure.

Messrs. E. Parr and W. Hammer arrived from the South yesterday. They are staying at the Grosvenor Hotel.

Mr.i Coulsen, who has been staying at the Grosvenor Hotel, left yesterday for the Dawson Valley.

Mr. D. Pattison, who has been staying at the Grosvenor Hotel, left for the South yesterday.
