ABSCONDED CONVICTS JUL 1844 Trove Tuesday 27th Oct 2020

 

These lists contain far more detail than most other lists... enough to make you hope that one of your convicts did abscond. 

Do check these lists even if you aren't aware of any convicts to date ..this would certainly help you on your way if this is the first time you have come across a familiar name. Also a point to remember is that it is worth investigating if you find a similar name with different spelling.

Details include name, ship convict arrived on and what voyage, age, home 
town, occupation, height, complexion, hair and eye colour, tattoos, where they absconded from and when...
