Each time I post these lists, I am asked where can these unclaimed letters be read. The answer remains the same... unfortunately, they no longer exist. The purpose of posting these lists is to give researchers an idea of possible places to look for their ancestors. If letters were sent to a particular place, then it is fair to assume that at one stage, the person named was either in that district or was intending to be there.
Next step may be to look for family notices in TROVE, or perhaps check the BDMs around that time. best of luck...
