These are selected randomly and are from several years.
They are all sourced from TROVE. 

Two hints that some may not think of...

* don't dismiss these notices because of where they are published ...our ancestors often moved around more than we realise.

*  whenever you're searching for a particular name, and come across the same or very similar surname, it is often worthwhile to save the information in a 'Maybe' file...particularly when looking for those 'missing'. Often just forenames were changed e.g. Browne became Brown, or they abbreviated from names like Woodward to Wood... I'm sure you have found some variations in your own trees.

    At least one boy was found MISSING BOY FOUND
    On Monday afternoon, Sergt. Behm,
    or Coolangatta, located Frank Edgar
    (14), of Sherwood, Brisbane, one of
    two boys who have been missing from
    home since October 16. The lads were
    traced to Mullumbimby on Friday
    last, since when nothing further
    could be learnt until Edgar's discovery.
    The boy apparently, was on his
    way back to Brisbane, while it is
    thought that his companion, William
    Lyell (17), of Graceville, is' making
    towards Lismore. Edgar was returned
    to his parents on Tuesday.
